ADAMS | Home | Adams Family Tree of Western Australia
|
Description |
This site is dedicated to the history of the Adams family in Western Australia. Charles Adams arrived in Australia with his father, Thomas, in 1853. Thomas came out as a pensioner guard on board the 'Pyrenees', and was later appointed as a special constable in the eastern settlements. He settled at Barbalin where he used his skill as a smith and stonecutter to deepen and line the well there, and no doubt he also assisted his son in the construction of the nearby Mangowine Homestead.
